The essence of planning cannot be overemphasized, that is why when you “fail to plan you practically plan to fail” so therefore, if you are really interested in graduating with a first class degree, you have to start planning now.

What kind of plans do I need to make?

This a question you might want to ask, as there are various kind of academic planning technique in the world today. But before I go into the kind of plan you need to make in order for you to achieve this goal, I will like us to take a closer look at the word “planning”.

According to Wikipedia "Planning (also called forethought) is the process of thinking about and organizing the activities required to achieve a desired goal.

It involves the creation and maintenance of a plan, such as psychological aspects that require conceptual skills. There are even a couple of tests to measure someone’s capability of planning well.

As such, planning is a fundamental property of intelligent behavior.
Also, planning has a specific process and is necessary for multiple occupations (particularly in fields such as managementbusiness, etc.).

In each field there are different types of plans that help companies or individuals achieve efficiency and effectiveness. An important, albeit often ignored aspect of planning, is the relationship it holds to forecasting

Forecasting can be described as predicting what the future will look like, whereas planning predicts what the future should look like for multiple scenarios.

Planning combines forecasting with preparation of scenarios and how to react to them.
Planning is one of the most important project management and time management techniques. Planning is preparing a sequence of action steps to achieve some specific goal. If a person does it effectively, they can reduce much the necessary time and effort of achieving the goal.

A plan is like a map. When following a plan, a person can see how much they have progressed towards their project goal and how far they are from their destination".

Now that you have gotten a proper definition of planning from Wikipedia, I believe you now have a proper understanding of what planning is and the major importance of planning.

We can now proceed to the various planning technique required to graduate with a first class as a new Student.

Making each Day count Academically

Making each Day count Academically

A wise man once said that you will never be able to change your life until you change the things you do daily, as we all already know that success does not just occur suddenly without Work, There must be a process or task required.

To attain success, a lot of effort and work has to be put in place DAILY in whatever area you desire to succeed.
Logically we all have two main decisions to make in lives as youths, the first decision is to; “play now and work later” while the other decision is to; “Work now and play later”.

This is simply because whatever you decide to do today will determine what you will become tomorrow. The way and manner you live your life today is what will determine how your tomorrow will look like.

Deciding to play now and work later (which is common with our youths this days) simply means you have decided to be lazy and catch all the possible fun you can, simply because you believe that you still have enough time.

The end of people who make such decisions cannot be difficult to predict, as they often end up way behind in life and some often suffer from it till death.

So therefore you whole life is determined by the decisions you make daily, and as such, you have to start grooming yourself daily to make each day count academically which will prepare you for a successful tomorrow.

You may want to ask; “How do I make each day count academically?”
If this is your question I am glad to let you know that from experience I have be able to acquire a perfect solution for you.
